Over the weekend, a stunning revelation emerged about Emhoff’s past: his first marriage fell apart after he impregnated his children’s nanny. Sources now disclose that the mood at the residence of the vice president has grown incredibly tense.
Emhoff, admitted on Saturday in a statement that he had an affair during his first marriage, following the publication of the alleged details by the British tabloid.

The Daily Mail reported that the woman involved became pregnant and, according to a close friend, she “did not keep the child.” The woman, who is not being named by CNN, did not respond to a voicemail left on Saturday afternoon seeking her comment.
“Doug and I decided to end our marriage for a variety of reasons, many years ago,” Kerstin said on Saturday. “He is a great father to our kids, continues to be a great friend to me and I am really proud of the warm and supportive blended family Doug, Kamala, and I have built together.”
A close friend with direct knowledge of the affair and pregnancy informed DailyMail that Naylor did not keep the child, whereas CBS has reported that the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. Additionally, Stacey Brooks, who gave birth to twin boys around the same time Naylor was expecting, did not deny any of the claims. However, she stated she would not share further information without Naylor’s permission.
